ImportsNC.com (also known as INC) provides this privacy policy to demonstrate our respect for your privacy. Established in August 2003, ImportsNC.com is an online car enthusiast’s site geared towards import car tuners and the import scene in North Carolina and surrounding states. People generally come to our site to look at media coverage from car events, read car and model features, look at our calendar, or visit our quickly growing forum. The forum is in fact the central focus of ImportsNC.com and we encourage you to register for free and become a member of our community. You are free to browse our site and forum without registering therefore disallowing us to collect any information from you. Below we will explain how and why we collect information from our registered members. When using our site it is up to you to check this privacy policy when you visit and see that you agree with its terms. If you disagree with the Policy it is up to you to leave the site. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. For your convenience, we will update the date above if there is any changes and describe the changes at the bottom of this document.

Please also note that ImportsNC.com will not be held responsible for any content on the site or forum that might offend you. Our site contains photos of models in underwear and swimsuits and our forum contains fowl language, and could contain graphic images and people talking about potentially illegal matters. If you could be offended by any mature content, you are advised to leave this site.

Collecting information from registered members

In order to post on our forum you must first register. Here you will be asked to read, and agree to abide by the ImportsNC Online Forums rules. You will then be asked to create a user name and password. We do not have access to your password but might in certain situations need to change your password if you come to our forum staff with account problems. You will be asked for an email address that legitimizes your account. You can request that ImportsNC.com and/or other members on the site not be able to send you emails. All other information you submit during registration or in your User CP (control panel) settings is optional. Information you choose to submit can be seen by other members and ImportsNC.com staff so only do this if you are comfortable sharing this information. ImportsNC.com does not collect any information to sell, license or disclose to any third party without your consent, unless we are compelled to do so under the law or to comply with a court order.
