1230: Drag racing school – Learn how to drag race. We will have a school to teach you how the lights work, how to stage your car, and break down your time slip so you understand every part of it. End w/ how to bracket race.

1 : Test & Tune opens up

2 : Bracket racing qualifying

3 : Bracket racing semi-finals

330 : Prize giveaway & Announcements

4 : Bracket racing finals

430 : Wind down.

Bracket racing winner announced:

Hmm...Very tempting. And bracket racing too? Only makes me want to go even more.
I just hate peidmont dragway...the track is just terrible, and the last time I was there I only ran my car 2 times in the 4 hours I was there because it was so packed and cars kept breaking down on the track.

I'll have to sleep on this.

It was late February. And please dont think I am trying to bash the track, just from my experiences, I wasnt too pleased when I went. And as I am a pretty consistent driver...my times were ~.3 seconds slower than the times I had at another track.
But hey, we'll have to see how things are if I am able to make it on the 23rd.

Nah, it's all good. That is why I asked. Track prep can really vary depending on multiple factors. Rain during the week, type of prep (VHT percentage, rosin, etc.), or even spills/wrecks can cause the lane to go to $hit. Either way, I hope you can make it on the 23rd or any other event to give it another try...
