Most na-t guys just swap in a thicker HG to drop the compression a tad, add ARP headstuds, and boost the snot out of them. Myself, i'm at least going rods/pistons for the bottom end. maybe a gte head/intake swap. or maybe just an aftermarket intake.

are you sure? i remember reading somewhere saying that the ge and gte cranks are exactly identical...

Actually, the more I've looked into it, it seems the 2JZ-GE and the Bad-Boy 2JZ-GTE share the EXACT same block, crank, and rods...the GTE has lower compression pistons compared to the GE, but not drasticlly lower....the majority of the compression drop between the two motors comes from the GTE's much thicker headgasket.
Keep in mind that this engine was designed to be turbocharged from the start.....the non-turbo GE motor came after the fact.

I was part of a cruise like that a few years back. Cruised from soth of NC on H77 to lake norman snapped some shots then went out to eat. It was a supra meet though.

That was a toyota meet at the rock hill mall, like a year or so ago (I thought the meet up was posted on here and CL, but don't really remember). Aka Paco is on clublexus, now has a red 97+ with 5 speed and black interior. His roomate had the black mk3, now a rsp sc300. I bought Erik's (aka paco) old car.
GSPEC - you need to run into Lee from around Rock Hill. He posted on cl with his car - something about reppin the carolina's or something. same color as mine, but with a 2jzgte. currently going single - i think sonny in columbia is doing the work. there's a lot of us around here, i just think we all know someone who knows someone. since it's almost summer, we all just need to get together somewhere, sometime.

Found a cool production number chart for the SC's....explains why you rarely see one on the roads.

I haven't read into it.....but I imagine with the 1jz harness and tranny, it would be fairly simple. Supercharging the 1UZ would prob be cheaper though.
