Serious: Beej in car accident!
Got a text from him in the emergency room. Also a call from Micah saying he was t-boned(pass side) avoiding a car that was halfway in his lane. Messed up his leg pretty bad.
A few of us are heading to the hospital.

Hope he didn't get the ticket.
First of all, I hope he didn't get a broken femur, knee, or ankle, because those suck. Secondly, I hope he wasn't found at fault, nothing sucks worse than dodging some idiot and getting wrecked in the process.

Beej called me and sounded really upset, of course but ok......didn't get to talk long, he had to go.
Micah Ball and Jon just got there...I'm heading over in about 10min since my office is right across the street. We'll keep you guys updated.

lol...that was misinformation from me. I just got home from seeing beej. One of the best Knee surgeons is in transit to come look at the xrays. Then we will know if he need surgery. The PA thinks he will though.
Beej's knee is dislocated and his kneecap is broken. He isn't in any pain because they have him on tons of meds .
He was on his way home from Boone thismorning going around a left hand turn when another car was halfway in his lane. He swerved right which put his car mostly in the grass. He went back left and lost control and ended up facing a black Ford Excursion. The collision was mostly head-on. The car is totaled from what we know but I'm gonna head over to the salvage yard later to take a look. We can all thank God that he is ok considering the size of the Excursions.
I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks Micah......I assume they're going to keep him? Probably until the surgeon decides what needs to be done....

Damn an excursion? YES! Thank god he is ok! That's almost 1 step down from hitting a semi.
Did they find the car that caused the accident?

Man that sucks hopefully he will be alright. I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago but instead of getting hit by another car I hit a tree with the passenger's side of my car and broke my arm. Some people suck at driving and don't need to be on the road.
