you can get a moderate drop... i have one and have only bottomed out on a speedbump once... most aftermarket springs/coils ride a lot better than the factory offering anyhow

    A. Naw no boost i know the guages are miss leading the a/f works the boost doesnt....its an autometer sport comp i dont need it i just keep it there so i dont have a big hole lookin at me.... i do wanna boost it tho just dont know about the sleeves that and it has 115K on it :-| soo if anybody wants to trade me a volt guage for my boost one ill gladly accept it

    B. The proteges feel really good. Mines kinda torquey for what it is i have the es dohc model. The suspension i love dont roll when i hit turns but their no coilovers >.< i put wind diffusers on it so i dont feel the wind as much. but for the most part their really good cars. I like it :-D

If you ever need any help with it let me know. I've been working on Proteges since 2001. Here is my old Pro5 (RIP)

The amount of safe boost you can run depends on a lot of variables. On a T25 turbo 9lbs is about the safe limit for a stock motor, but still requires a good tune. If you get a larger turbo you'll have to lower the boost. 9psi on a T28 is a lot more air than 9psi on a T25.

The simplest solution is to find a wrecked MSP and get the stock turbo/manifold/ECU out of it. Then you'll need a few fittings for the oil supply/return and coolant routings to the turbo. A decent FMIC and a piping kit will be needed.

Here is a good thread from when I turboed my Pro5. It's long and I got delayed in the middle of the project, but there is some good info.

And here is the car after it was done. Ignore all the BOV sounds. My front struts were completely blown and I had to do some crazy things with the throttle to keep the car from pushing.
