Introducing Premium Membership and Premium Founders

Over the past 5 years our forum has connected car enthusiasts around the Carolinas (and world) with a place to chill online and talk about anything and fun meets/events. The result has been a closer and more educated community. Membership to our forum has always been free and tons of people have contributed to build our site into what it is today. Thanks!

At the root of the site is a group of individuals that have put in their time and money to run, promote, and organize the community. Now is the time we encourage you to give a little back so that we can in exchange grow stronger. Oh and keep out the rift raft. Please join and help us succeed through this transition.

After all with a small fee from our members, we will be able to build some revenue that can be used for lots of things. Yes some will be used to compensate the senior staff's time and efforts, but it will mostly allow for site expansions, merchandising, better event venues, exclusive articles, premium contests and more.

How it works:
The Premium Membership costs $19.95 per year or $32.99 for a lifetime membership. Signing up is easy using Paypal. Don't worry you don't even need a Paypal account to use Paypal. You can also quickly use a credit card from their site without even signing up. If you don't want to use Paypal, you can also send us a check. PM Brandon for details to payment by check.
Note: After you successfully sign-up, your new features will not be automatic. We must manually verify the payment went through before you will be moved into your new usergroup. Please try to be patient during this time period.

-The Marketplace!
-Regular members will not be allowed to sell on this forum unless they sign up from Premium Membership.
-You will still be able to post in the Out of Bounds and Marketplace, just you will not be able to start new topics.
-You will be able to post in all the other subforums you can see now.

We are here to benefit the forum...
We appreciate all of those who have joined up and became a Premium member. You are participating in the benefits to come.

But we like to listen and take advice from the community as a whole. After much consideration, we decided to compromise with those who felt "left out"... The update should satisfy those not willing to spare $13yr or $24 lifetime for a premium membership.. But keep the exclusivity of our Premium members!

Define "Regular members". Also I take it you will be locking existing threads by "Cheap" members or allowing them to run on?

Regular member: def. a member of ImportsNC who has not upgraded to a Premium membership and is not an administrator, super moderator, moderator, or sponsor.

Yes threads will continue on regardless of the author. Just no NEW threads will be created by regular members.
