    Default Version 3: 2JZ HX40 NA-T

    Recently finished up the 2J in my car. It's still got a lot of small work ahead of it, like making brackets and cleaning up some of the wiring routing, but it's running and driving beautifully, tuned for 15 psi for now. Runs on JDM 7M-GTE ECU using HKS VPC and Apexi S-AFC (7M ignitor, IS300 coilpacks, 7M CPS).



    2JZ-GE out of an 95 SC300
    R154 with ACT 6-puck HD clutch
    Holset HX40 with the billet Supra 40 wheel and 17 cm^2 exhaust housing
    Ebay exhaust manifold and 3" intercooler setup
    Fabricated FFIM with 80mm throttle body
    Walbro 255 wired for full 12V and -6 AN fuel lines/Aeromotive AFPR
    HKS 550cc injectors
    HKS VPC
    Apexi S-AFR
    HKS EVC II @ 15 psi
    Ignite Soul
    Now 2JZ / 6262 / AEM EMS /other fun stuff

    On those injectors and 15psi I would guess 360-380rwhp?

    Can't be over 400. I keep telling myself I'm going to wait to up the boost but it already feels slow haha. The end goal is to be around 450-470 rwhp, my fuel system won't support more

    Should be at least 400whp b/c I made 440whp on a 60-1 @15 psi and 525cc injectors.

    I hope not haha... I'll be kind of upset if the car isn't faster by the time I max the injectors. It doesn't feeelll like 400 but a 60-1 has a similar inducer size so you might be right...

    Are you on stock NA compression or has it been lowered?

    i'm running the tt hg so it's been lowered slightly.

    I hope you upgraded your headgasket, if you didn't it will pop soon, the regular 2jz-ge HG is good for 9psi anything after that is risking it. Boostlogic makes a good HG for these. i am currently building one 2jz-ge for turbo to drop in the IS300. if you need parts lmk i have 2 other 2jz's.

    btw the car looks sexy!

    I'm on a TT head gasket and ARP studs. The stocker can take a lot of abuse, but needs a standalone and real tune to compensate for the high compression. Which I don't have

    Standalone is very high on the to-do list, but I'm trying not to spend money on this thing for a while haha.

    Finally painted a whale tail that I bought Christmas 2009. It's just a spraybomb job, the car's getting wide fenders and real paint later in its life anyway and I just want the wing on haha.
