Lowering Springs
I'm lookin to lower my hatch and don't know much about car suspensions. Lifting trucks was more of my thing than lowering cars lol. Common sense tells me to stay away from the 20-somethin dollar Ebay springs, but what about just the $150 Tein or Tanabe Springs?
Any suggestions, general or specific would be great. The Car is a 95 Honda EG.

nam (co-owner of phantasm) will be able to give you advice on what to do based on what you want the car to do. i have d2 springs ($125) and for my car being simply a slow point a->point b dd, they are fine.

why do you need to spend $1400 on coilovers?....
your best bet will be to look around on local forums (CarolinaHondas) or something and find a set of USED coilovers.

You learn something new everyday. Stupid me hadn't heard of the sleeve coilover type. I just knew about the $800 and up full coilovers. I did some research and I think I'm going to get the sleeve coilovers that phantasm sells. About 190 and I can adjust the drop. Maybe later I'll upgrade the shocks.

Going low on stiffer springs and stock shocks won't go so well.

1100 for what car? they were 900 for the TL and 900 for the RSX from NSI. You must not know where the hell to look my friend. I would rather pay for higher quality suspension like coilvers than cheap ebay coilvers because your life rides in the hands of your suspension and other stuff obviously. But suspension is one thing you should not cheap out on.
