Ok so i was trying to figure out what i want to do with my crx. Now my first idea was straight black. just a nice gloss finish. now im thinking that ima do white.. with black accents.. the trim, bottom ground effects and hood black.

what do yall think? also anyone know where i can get it painted pretty cheap im on a tight budget

Well since you're already doing a two-tone and "ground effects" you might as well go the full 9 yards with paint.

I would go with all "flat" spray paint like Steve suggested. The dull finish will reduce glare from the parking lot while getting ready for street races.

If you do go an alternate route, make sure the neons that are tucked behind the ground effects don't clash. It would be really embarassing to the rest of the parking lot dwellers to see clashing colors.

Maybe you could skip color all together and go with primer? It's quite the popular theme with "kitted" cars in the area.

i wouldn't do black as it shows any and every flaw in the bodywork. if this is a DD, i'd do something lighter like a dark grey or even green. i can't remember the color but i've seen it on an ep3 hatch and it's a great color.

im not doing a body kit no... u missunderstand the CRX comes with a body line at the bottom im going to paint the bottom half of the bodyline black. and the car is all primer now and i hate it.. i hate dull paint.. i want something glossy

can't go wrong with white pearl even though that now is becoming overdone... Pick your favorite color, add or subtract what that would imply to making the car look like and go from there. After all YOU are the one driving it everyday.

Remember if you want glossy then the quality of the work has to be top notch, not some $299 Macco garbage. If you want a nice black then every single last dent will have to be pulled/filled, your painter will have to know how to paint/clear properly.

However if you just want to shitbomb some Championship White or VSM on it then you can get away with a lot more.

PS, I wouldn't go the two-tone route, that shit is nasty IMO.
