    Default AUDI s5 and r8

got to drive my friend's new audi r8. such a nice looking car, inside and out. you have to see one in person to really apprecaite one. very exotic looking. engine looks amazing through the rear window. it felt fast. very smooth and quiet. the engine/exhaust is a bit quiet and dissapointing in terms as sounds go. i wish it was a lot louder and more aggressive. still, amazing car. for 80k , i think it's a great buy. it's not fastest for the price but it sure does beat out a lot of cars in other aspects. seems very exotic for the price. insurance is a whopping 944 a month for this car for my friend.

s5 was nice. it would make a very nice daily luxury coupe. the interior is VERY nice and high quality. the stock exhaust on this car made cool sounds. sounds like a diesel when smashing the gas. didn't feel fast at all but the MPH needle was climbing pretty quick. the power if very linear.

audi is impressing me as in terms of buyers feedback. they know how to make a car look nice, they got their interior right(europeans have good taste), and all have very good power. their new line up is very grown up and luxurious feeling. I'm even impressed with most of VW line up as well.

mmmm, all the reviews i read and watched they said that the r8 has a great sounding engine. They said that is one of the best things about driving the r8 was the engine sound

I have seen the R8 on the road but not up close. I like it.

I've seen one on the road and it sounded pretty loud to me (with my sunroof open).

Did your friend buy it used? an R8 costs about $120k. You can't even get a new S8 for 80k. So I guess if you can afford that price... you probably have a spare grand for insurance every month, lol.

I test drove an S5 before I bought the M... it was truly my favorite car, but I just couldn't get a 2dr, but I'd definitely reccommend it to anyone out shopping for a 2dr euro that has about 50k to spend. Its got good balance, excellent styling and is still 10k cheaper (at least) than an M3

Audi has a nice lineup, but they still have high maintenance costs and they ended their free maintenance with purchase plan (though VW started doing this). But they have definitely stepped their game up. If only they could get away from the FWD/Quattro and into RWD/Quattro i think it would help their overall brand appearance.

The S5 is probably 1 of my favorite cars on the road today. It's amazing.

I washed one at work, I used to work at Flow Audi in winston. I've drove everything they got except for the R8 for obvious reasons. R8s are soo sexy, especially in black. My favorite of them all is still the S4 4.2 and the S6 with the v10. I miss my job

Flow had a white R8 in the showroom a while back. I stopped by 1 night to drool on the windows. My fiance shit a brick. She drives an A4 and would probably dump me for an S5.
