Notice that there are 2 FULL DRIFT WEEKENDS.. There is a great possibility of special pricing to be offered if you plan on running both days. Details will be posted as they are available.

I want to thank Hooters for stepping up to support The Myrtle Beach Speedway and MBDrift this season. All types of great things will be happening this year as a result. Once again, full details released very soon.

This is looking good... on the days the championship rounds are on, will there be open practice at all?

Also, whomever the 09' champ was, does he drive a silver s14? He parked next to me last night at IHOP and I'm trying to figure out who he is... thanks!

Its Jordan (navajo_drifter) if you want to hang out or go drifting in jville you can always find one of us (guys with the omega symbol on our cars) at ESC next to Fastfreddys

on competition days, all drivers are welcome, but the cost is $75.00

you will still get a TON of runs like normal, but around 3pm we begin qualifying for the comp. The comp is usually over before 5:30 and then it is back to fun runs until the end of the event, either dusk or 7pm.

Sunday events are 1230 hottrack til dusk or 7pm
Saturday events are 1030 hottrack until dusk or 7 pm.. definitely more track time, but limited days available due to the circle track schedule which is on most Saturdays March thru November

Yeah, I'm pretty new to the area, and pretty new to drifting but I've got a lot going on with my car and I hope to get a lot of seat time in this season!

I might stop by next weekend or something.

We should be hitting as many events as possible at every venue...but i still believe that Myrtle Beach will be our most popular spot. It's only 2 hours there vs 4 to Charolette.

The 1st event is this Saturday. Only $40 for 7 hours of drift practice. It would be good place to shake down your car if you made any upgrades or repairs over this winter.

Hey guys, me and the wifey are finally gonna make it down and try to run practice next month. My question is though, do I need to reserve a spot before hand, or can I just show up?? We're coming from Reidsville, so I don't wanna drive 4 hours and not have anything to do. Really looking forward to this!!!

covered this in your post on GeD, but.. we generally do not turn away.. we have fielded 38 drivers with no issues, and will not turn anyone away.

That said.. gates open at 8am.

Drivers meeting is MANDATORY and occurs AT (OR BEFORE) 10am.

track layout is different every time. usually enter at a good speed, a few flowing turns and gets technical toward the end.
