I'm the second owner of this car. I bought it with 21,000 miles on it. It remained stock until it had 109,000 miles!!:lol:
A few months ago the stock motor chucked a rod and went to Force-Fed Performance where it started getting the treatment. The full list of parts is below but the jist of it is a long rod 2.4, MAP Ultimate duty I beams and Wiseco 1400HD's. After break-in, it went on the dyno got tuned and put down 377hp / 464TQ.
I thought this thing would be bullet proof. I was wrong :crap:.
At about 1,700 miles ( on the built motor ) I took it to the track, and it sounded like it broke up real bad at the big end and cut off. towed it to the shop and pulled the head and found this nightmare. Apparently the injector failed and melted a hole in the piston and cracked a small piece off. In doing so it kind of cooked the very top of the cylinder wall. Some are saying hone it and it will be fine others say cut it 0.20 over ( block is stock bore 4g64 86.5mm ).
Well, I have no more money to put into this project and I recently found out I have a baby on the way
. So that being said I need it payed off and gone.
This car was DD'd for a long time so there are some dings and scratches. The passenger Qtr. was backed into a mailbox some time ago ( I will get pics ASAP ) shouldn't be more than $500 to fix.
